Lauren Gillin

Lauren Gillin is a seasoned media and communications professional with extensive experience in various roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Media and Communications Manager at Redfern Legal Centre since August 2023, Lauren previously worked as a Senior Media Officer at Mission Australia from March 2021 to August 2023. Notably, Lauren was involved in the media and communication strategy for Max Chandler-Mather's Greens campaign in Griffith in early 2022. With a solid foundation in policy and communications acquired during tenure at the Parliament of NSW from 2017 to 2021, Lauren also held roles including Campaign Manager for the 2019 Federal Election with The NSW Greens and Media Adviser to Queensland Greens Senator Larissa Waters. Additional experience includes positions as Digital Editor at Sky News Australia and Digital and Radio Producer at Fairfax Media, along with a freelance journalism career from 2012 to 2015, contributing to various reputable publications.
