Mike Gurta

Mike Gurta is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and platform engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Platform Engineer at Redfin since April 2025, Mike has successfully completed significant projects, including an Okta tenant migration. Previously, Mike worked at Rent. for over 24 years, holding various roles such as Sr. Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Manager, and Systems Administrator, where responsibilities included managing data centers, supporting consumer-focused websites, and administering large-scale networks. Earlier roles included System Administrator positions at edaflow and UPS Logistics Group, and a Network Administrator role at the Georgia Tech Economic Development Institute. Mike holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
