Drake Ju has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Transportation Specialist in the Republic of Korea Air Force from June 2008 to August 2010. Drake then worked as a Snowboard Instructor at Whistler Blackcomb from October 2010 to February 2011. In January 2013, they became a Study Abroad Advisor at ELeaders, where they managed program applications and information, conducted evaluations, and handled various administrative tasks until January 2014. From February 2014 to March 2018, Drake served as a Co-Founder of Brush and Powder, leading the brand vision, creating a website and blog, launching new products, and developing social media and outreach initiatives. As a Software Developer at Brush and Powder from March 2018 to January 2019, Drake customized Shopify themes, maintained and updated the front-end of the website, and built a Human Resources system. Currently, Drake is a Software Engineer at RedFox Games since June 2020.
Drake Ju started their education journey in 2011, attending Vancouver Community College (VCC) from 2011 to 2012, where they pursued a field of study in Business/Commerce. They then furthered their education at the National Institute for Lifelong Education from 2017 to 2018, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature.
In 2017, Drake also attended Dev Bootcamp, specializing in Computer Software Engineering.
In addition to their formal education, Drake has obtained various certifications. In 2016, they completed the Young Entrepreneur Business Export program offered by the Gyeonggi Provincial Government. In 2016, they also completed the SNS Marketing Professional Course provided by the Anyang Creative Industry Promotion Agency. They then earned a Next Generation Film Creator Academy Certificate from Gyeonggi Content Agency in 2017, followed by a Final Cut Pro X certification from Apple Authorized Training in the same year.
