Fran Heeran

Fran Heeran is a seasoned telecommunications executive currently serving as Vice President of the Global Telecommunications Business at Red Hat since November 2024. With extensive experience at Nokia from March 2019 to October 2024, Fran held several key senior vice president roles, focusing on products, engineering, and core networks. Prior to Nokia, Fran was Group Head of Cloud & Automation and Network Virtualization at Vodafone from July 2017 to February 2019. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Netcracker, AePONA, and Valista Limited, alongside a technical background as a software engineer at ISOCOR and Glockenspiel. Fran's educational credentials include Chartered Engineering status and a degree from Technological University Dublin.
