Ivan Font

Ivan Font is a Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat since May 2016, focused on emerging security technologies as part of the Security Team within the CTO Office. Previously, Ivan served as a Senior Software Engineer at Red Hat, contributing to open source projects and strategies in security and storage, and became a member of the Ansible, Ceph, OpenShift, and Kubernetes communities. Prior experience includes roles as a Firmware Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where Ivan developed embedded firmware for networking products and mission-critical servers, and as a Firmware Test Intern, leading testing infrastructure updates for HP Integrity Servers. Ivan's early career includes IT internships at UC Davis and the California Department of Education, providing computer support and maintenance for Linux and Windows systems. Ivan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis.
