Kai Xu

Kai Xu is a Research Scientist specializing in Probabilistic Machine Learning, currently working at both the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab and as a Principal Research Scientist at Red Hat, where they are a founding member of the Innovation Team. Kai has previously held research positions at Amazon and Hazy, as well as a research assistant role at the Cambridge Machine Learning Group. They completed their PhD at the University of Edinburgh and hold degrees from the University of Liverpool and the University of Cambridge. Kai's early experience includes a machine learning internship at Apple.
