Kambiz Aghaiepour

Kambiz Aghaiepour is a highly experienced IT professional with a strong background in system administration and engineering. Currently serving as a Principal System Administrator at Red Hat since January 2011, Kambiz previously held the position of Lead Systems Engineer at MCNC, where key responsibilities included providing engineering leadership for statewide research and education networks. Prior to that role, Kambiz was a Senior System Administrator at Duke University's Office of Information Technology, leading a team responsible for managing close to 500 Linux servers. Additional experience includes positions as a Linux System Administrator for Duke University Health System and as a System Administrator at Red Hat, Inc. Kambiz began a career in IT consulting with roles at Collective Technologies, Inc. and Analysts International. Kambiz holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of California, Davis.
