Marco Bill-Peter is Senior Vice President of Customer Experience and Operations (CXnO) at Red Hat. CXnO is responsible for increasing the value customers and partners receive from their relationship with Red Hat. In addition to technical support delivery and customer success, Bill-Peter's organization is responsible for the award-winning Red Hat® Customer Portal, quality engineering, release engineering, product certifications, product security, product documentation, and translation services.

Under Bill-Peter's leadership, the role of support has transitioned from reactive interactions to high-value, proactive, and collaborative customer engagements with a focus on sustained relationships.

Bill-Peter continues to challenge the standard industry definition of support, with a strategic focus on innovation that better serves customers and delivers more customer value. The CXnO organization he oversees focuses on delivering personalized content-driven engagement initiatives, continued improvements to global support delivery, and proactive automated subscription services while striving to increase customer engagement and improve the overall customer experience.

Bill-Peter has more than 20 years of experience in the IT and support delivery fields. Prior to joining Red Hat, he held various support and engineering roles at Hewlett-Packard, Compaq, and Digital Equipment Corp. in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
