Mark Thacker

Mark Thacker has more than 25 years in the IT industry, focusing on enterprise computing with an emphasis on security solutions. Thacker has authored deployment guides on multilevel-labeled security, firewalls, network separation, role-based access control, encryption, and identity management.

Currently, as a Principal Product Manager, Thacker is responsible for the security strategy of Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® and works as an advocate for security solutions within Red Hat. He particularly enjoys working with people to translate complex technology into deployments with practical benefits.
