Paolo Bonzini

Paolo Bonzini is a distinguished engineer at Red Hat, where since June 2009, Paolo has participated in design discussions and led the development of long-term features with a focus on their application to layered products. Paolo has also contributed to the virtio standards committee and engaged in cross-vendor collaborations with partners in the silicon and cloud sectors. Prior to this role, Paolo completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Università della Svizzera italiana from 2004 to 2009 and worked as a web developer at Politecnico di Milano, from February 2001 to October 2004, where responsibilities included the technical redesign of a major university's website and programming of the content management system for the university’s Intranet site. Paolo holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, earned between 2000 and 2004.
