Scott Simmons

Scott Simmons is a Senior Principal Product Manager at Red Hat, where they focus on delivering innovative solutions for hyperscale cloud marketplace customers. They began their career as an Applications Developer at Ameritech and later worked as a TPF Systems Programmer and Unix Systems Administrator at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. Over the years, Scott has held various IT roles, including as an IT Manager at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and as a Cloud & Service Management Solution Architect at IBM. They have been with Red Hat since 2015, transitioning from Principal Solution Architect in the Cloud Practice to their current senior position. Scott earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University.
