Sergio Correia

Sergio Correia is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and optimizing software solutions. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat since July 2019, Sergio previously held positions as a Senior Software Engineer and a C++ Software Engineer at Crossover for Work, where responsibilities included maintenance of network cache and digital asset management systems, as well as unit test writing and test automation. Earlier roles include significant contributions to WebKit development at Nokia Institute of Technology, research in network virtualization and optical data center architectures during internships at Université du Québec à Montréal, and software development in embedded systems at Instituto Atlântico. Sergio holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual do Ceará.
