Michael Akers has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Michael started their career as a Software Engineer at BAE Systems in 2005 and then moved to BAE Systems Information Technology in 2007, where they served as a Task Manager and Deputy Program Manager. In 2011, they joined Raytheon Technology Associates as a Senior Principle Software Engineer and worked there until 2014. Since 2014, Michael has been associated with REDLattice Inc., initially as a Senior Engineer/Reverse Engineer and currently as the Vice President and General Manager of Engineering.
Michael Akers completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Auburn University, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at George Mason University from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, they hold a certification in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
