Alex Borjas

Alex Borjas has a diverse background in software development, with experience in various roles and industries. Alex is currently working as a Full Stack Developer at Redlen Technologies Inc. Since joining the company in July 2021, they have been involved in the development of web applications and REST APIs.

Prior to this, Alex held a position as a .NET Developer at Payload Technologies Inc., where they supported and enhanced a .NET solution for the transportation of Waste Dangerous Goods. Alex worked on web applications and REST APIs using VB and ASP.NET. Alex held this role from April 2021 to July 2021.

Before that, Alex worked as a .NET Developer at Radar Digital Comunicaciones, where they implemented a .NET solution for journalists. This involved developing web applications with responsive design and REST APIs using C# and ASP.NET. Alex was with the company from February 2021 to April 2021.

Alex also has experience in the public sector, having worked as an Intermediate Programmer Analyst at BC Public Service from February 2020 to January 2021.

Additionally, they have worked as a Software Release Engineer at PNI Digital Media Ltd from November 2019 to January 2020, and as a Software Engineer at Bazinga Technologies from April 2019 to June 2019.

In their earlier career, Alex held the position of .NET Architect/Team Lead at MDP CONSULTING S.A.C from September 2017 to May 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer/Team Lead at Tönnjes Group Latin America & The Caribbean from February 2011 to April 2017.

Alex's work experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer at Thunderbird Resorts from June 2008 to January 2011.

Alex Borjas has a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, obtained in 2004. In 2007, they completed a Diploma of Education at Universidad ESAN, focusing on IT Project Management, Knowledge Management, IT Security, and IT Planning. Alex further pursued education at CENTRUM PUCP in 2015, where they obtained a Diploma of Education in Process Management and Improvement. In 2017, they attended the Centro de Alta Capacitación en Tecnologías de Información and earned the Enterprise Architect TOGAF degree, specializing in Information Technology Administration and Management.

Alex Borjas also holds several certifications. In May 2005, they obtained the MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft. In August 2005, they earned the MCAD: Microsoft .NET certification. Their most recent certifications include the MCSD1: Microsoft .NET certification obtained in May 2007 and the Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft earned in April 2022.
