Andrew Schlosser

Andrew Schlosser has a diverse work experience in engineering and project management. Andrew worked as a Test System Development Engineer at Redlen Technologies Inc. since 2021. Prior to that, they were a Masters Student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UBC from 2019 to 2021. Andrew also worked as a Hardware Engineer at Pacific Insight Electronics Corp. from 2017 to 2019, where they designed and tested automotive lighting and vehicle control modules. Andrew had experience as an Embedded Software and Hardware Engineer at NANOTIS Technologies Inc. from 2016 to 2017, where they developed firmware and tested PV power switching modules. Andrew also worked as an Embedded Software and Test Engineer at Kinetic Reality from 2015 to 2016, where they developed sensor fusion algorithms and refined firmware. Andrew has teaching experience as a Microcontroller Lab Instructor at BCIT in 2015 and as a Lab Proctor in analog and digital electronics at BCIT from 2012 to 2014. Andrew also gained project management skills as an Assistant Project Manager at Angus Consulting Management Limited in 2014. Earlier in their career, Andrew worked as a Cyclotron Controls Hardware Co-op at TRIUMF from 2012 to 2012, where they diagnosed and repaired control and data acquisition modules.

Andrew Schlosser completed their Master of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at The University of British Columbia from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology between 2011 and 2015. In addition to their formal education, Andrew has obtained certifications in Advanced PCB Layout from FEDEVEL Academy in June 2020 and a Certificate of Training in Applying Practical EMI Design & Troubleshooting Techniques from Silent Solutions LLC in May 2018.
