Jordan Watson has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Starting in 2016, they worked as a Biomedical Engineering Research Assistant at the University of Victoria. In 2018, they joined Island Health as a Jr. Clinical Applications Analyst in the Cerner Operations Team. Jordan then returned to the University of Victoria in 2019 as a Software Developer. In 2021, they briefly worked at Checkfront as a Product Strategist. From 2020 to 2022, they had multiple roles at the University of Victoria, including SEGAL - Software Engineering Global Interaction Lab where they conducted research on software ecosystems and open innovation. Jordan also worked as an Academic Assistant during various periods. Currently, they are a Full Stack Software Developer at Redlen Technologies Inc., where they are involved in designing, developing, and maintaining tools for AI systems with deep learning theory.

Jordan Watson has a diverse education history. Jordan attended Washington State University - Honors College from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Following this, they pursued computer science and attended the University of Victoria from 2017 to 2020, earning a Bachelor of Computer Science degree. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Computer Science degree at the University of Victoria, which began in 2021 and is expected to be completed in 2023. In addition to their academic achievements, Jordan obtained a certification as an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM in March 2022.
