Josh Curran has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Josh started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at QIAGEN in 2009, where they gained valuable experience in sample and assay technology. Josh then worked at Océ - A Canon Company from 2011 to 2016, starting as a Co-op Mechanical Designer and later becoming a Junior Mechanical Designer and Function Lead. In these roles, they designed printer subsystems, resolved quality issues, and conducted material compatibility evaluations.

From 2016 to 2019, Josh worked at Océ - A Canon Company as a Technical Project Manager and Mechanical System Designer/Architect & Team Lead. Josh led multidisciplinary teams, developed project plans, and steered technical direction. Josh then joined Canon Production Printing in 2019, where they served as a System Designer/Architect & Team Lead. In this role, they led a team of 14 and developed novel designs to fulfill product requirements.

Currently, Josh is working as a Program Manager at Redlen Technologies Inc. since 2022.

From 2007 to 2012, Josh Curran attended The University of British Columbia. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on the Biomedical Program.
