Charan Cline

Charan Cline Ed.D serves as the Superintendent of Redmond School District, overseeing 7,500 students across 13 schools since July 2020. Prior to this role, Charan held superintendent positions at Yamhill Carlton School District and North Douglas School District, managing approximately 1,200 and 400 students, respectively. Charan has also contributed to the Douglas Education Service District as Assistant Superintendent and Director of Student Achievement, focusing on school improvement and special education services. Earlier experience includes roles as Principal at Winston Middle School and Assistant Principal at Douglas High School, along with teaching social studies at Philomath High School. Charan holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from George Fox University and advanced degrees in Educational Leadership, Geography, and Secondary Education from the University of Oregon and Western Oregon University.
