Colleen Oliver

Colleen Oliver is an experienced educator with a robust background in early childhood and elementary education, currently serving as a Dual Language Immersion Kindergarten Teacher at Redmond School District since August 2016. Prior to this role, Colleen taught third grade at Global Village Academy, where responsibilities included providing CCSS-aligned instruction and conducting small group interventions based on data from standardized assessments. Colleen also held positions in various educational settings, including teaching second grade in a bilingual context at Denver Public Schools, and serving as an instructional assistant for ECE students. International experience includes teaching English in rural Panama and Costa Rica. Colleen earned an Alternative Licensure in Elementary Education from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literary Studies, alongside minors in Latin American Studies and Biology from the University of Puget Sound.
