Shelly Bornfleth

Shelly Bornfleth is an experienced educator currently serving as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Redmond School District since August 2016. Previously, Shelly taught 5th Grade at Moraga School District from July 2013 to June 2016 and held a position as a 6th Grade Math/Science Teacher at Redwood Day School for the 2012-2013 academic year. Shelly began a career in education at Hudson School District, where from 1998 to 2011, served as a 6th Grade Math/Reading Teacher in a collaborative team environment recognized with the Middle School of Excellence Award. Shelly's educational background includes a Master of Arts in English from Southern New Hampshire University, a Master of Education in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
