Amelia Ferro has a diverse work experience in the education field. Amelia started their career in 2005 as a Substitute Teacher at Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District, where they maintained discipline and implemented lesson plans. In 2007, they joined Redondo Beach Unified School District as an English as a Second Language and ELL Teacher, where they prepared students in English and adapted teaching methods to meet their needs. Amelia also served as the Even Start Family Literacy Program Director, coordinating program implementation and managing personnel. Additionally, they attended California State University-Dominguez Hills from 2009-2013 and earned a California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, with a field of study encompassing English Language, Elementary and Secondary Basic Skills, Communication, and Computer Applications.
