Bharath Vissapragada

Bharath Vissapragada has a long history of working in the tech industry. Bharath began their career in 2012 as a Google summer of Code intern. In 2013, they joined Cloudera as a Staff Software Engineer, where they contributed to various sub-systems in the Impala project. In 2019, they moved to Salesforce as a Principal Member of Technical Staff, working on HBase, a distributed KV store. Bharath was also a PMC and committer on the Apache HBase project. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Redpanda Data, working in the intersection of OLTP and streaming analytics.

Bharath Vissapragada attended IIIT Hyderabad from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer Science.
