Matthew Schumpert

Matthew Schumpert has been in the tech industry since 2002. Matthew started as a Technical Account Manager at ILOG,Inc. in 2002 and then moved to BEA Systems in 2005 as a Senior Technical Manager. In 2008 they joined Oracle Corporation as a Senior Technologist and then in 2010 they moved to Datameer as Director of Product Management and Director of Solutions Engineering. After five years in this role, they joined Cloudera in 2015 as Director of Product Management. Most recently, they have been Head of Product, Core at Redpanda Data since 2022.

Matthew Schumpert attended the University of Virginia from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
