Pepijn Oomen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Pepijn started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Reinwardt Academy, where they worked from September 1993 to August 1995. Pepijn then worked as the Chief Operations Officer at Grabowsky Polytechics BV from September 1995 to December 2000.

In 2001, they joined GAN Media AS as a Senior System Developer and worked there until December 2006. Following that, from January 2007 to February 2012, they served as the Information Technology Lead at 07 Web AS.

Since March 2012, Pepijn has been working at Redpill Linpro, a provider of professional Open Source services and products. Pepijn started as a Senior Systems Consultant from March to August 2012 and then became the Team Lead Managed Services from September 2012 onwards. In November 2018, they took on the role of OpenShift Solution Manager, which they currently hold.

Pepijn Oomen attended the University of Amsterdam from 1986 to 1992, where they studied Mathematics. After completing their university education, they obtained several certifications in the field of technology. In 2016, they became a Red Hat Certified System Administrator and a Red Hat Certified Engineer. In 2018, they obtained the Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development certification. In 2019, they achieved the Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation certification, and in 2020, they obtained the Red Hat Certified Specialist in Security: Containers and OpenShift Container Platform certification. In addition, they hold certifications in the technology industry from IBM, including the CLP Domino R5 Principal Application Developer, the CLP Domino R5 Principal System Administrator, and the OS/2 Certified Engineer.
