Athena Wong

Athena Wong has a strong background in software engineering and technical leadership. Athena is currently employed at RedSeal, Inc. as a Software Engineer since 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Cisco from 2016 to 2017 as a Technical Leader, where they played a core role in developing real-time telemetry and automated workload tuning for cloud big data infrastructure. Athena also worked at Hadoop BigData of Elastic Cloud Infrastructure, EMC from 2014 to 2016 as a Principal Software Engineer, where they were a key developer in a cloud compute analytics and data warehouse project. Before joining EMC, Athena worked at Trend Micro from 2004 to 2014, where they held various positions including Solution Architect for Web Services Integration and Sr. Development Manager. At Trend Micro, they focused on RESTful Web Services integration for cloud security products and was responsible for architecture design, feature planning, and implementation. Prior to Trend Micro, Athena worked at Skystream Network as a Sr. Software Engineer, where they developed Windows kernel network drivers for media routers. Throughout their career, Athena has gained experience in a wide range of technologies including Java, C/C++, and various cloud infrastructure platforms.

Athena Wong attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as Computer Science. The duration of their education and the completion of any degree were not provided.
