Jacob T.

Jacob T. serves as the Head of Labs at Thinkst Applied Research since July 2021, while also contributing as a Technical Advisory Board Member at RedShield Security Limited since December 2017. Previous roles include Manager of Secure Hardware and Foundational Technologies at Amazon Web Services from May 2020 to June 2021, where responsibilities involved enhancing security across AWS products, and Program Manager at DARPA from May 2017 to May 2020, overseeing multiple programs in cyber, AI/ML, and analytics. Jacob T. founded the Denver CitySec group and served as Program Director on the ISSA Denver Chapter board. An advising research engineer and CO site lead at Assured Information Security from January 2009 to April 2017, Jacob was a key technical lead on various projects. Additional experience includes volunteer work as an EMT-B with the Potsdam Volunteer Rescue Squad, leading wilderness expeditions, and maintaining the Clarkson University website as a web developer. Jacob T. holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Clarkson University and has a strong foundation in both computer science and mathematics.
