Jesse Williams

Jesse Williams has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Jesse is currently the CTO and Co-founder of Redshift, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to that, they took a personal sabbatical and worked as a Software Leader from October 2021 to March 2022. Jesse also served as the Head of Enterprise Software at Astra from April 2020 to October 2021.

Before these roles, Jesse worked at Nutanix as a Sr. Engineering Manager from September 2018 to April 2020. In this role, they led a full-stack engineering team and was responsible for product strategy, budgeting, and execution of engineering processes. Jesse also mentored and coached team members and worked with various technologies such as Google Cloud, AWS, Node.js, React, and Docker.

Prior to Nutanix, Jesse founded and served as the CEO of SafeSkies Systems from December 2016 to December 2018. The company focused on developing a high-speed safety system for commercial drones.

From 2013 to 2017, Jesse worked at ServiceNow as a Manager and Lead Engineer for App Development. Jesse led multiple full-stack engineering teams, contributed to the growth of the department, and played a significant role in implementing an Agile workflow. Jesse's work at ServiceNow involved using Java, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, and MySQL.

Before ServiceNow, Jesse held engineering roles at Northrop Grumman Corporation and Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, where they worked on the design, manufacture, and testing of prototype UAV and drone systems. Jesse achieved various milestones and projects during their tenure at both companies.

Jesse began their career in the US Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician Second Class from January 2003 to August 2007.

Jesse Williams began their education in 2005 at Coastline College, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering.
