Juan Carlos Calderon

Juan Carlos Calderon is an experienced baseball coach and scout with a strong background in both player development and education. Currently serving as an Area Scout for the Boston Red Sox since July 2017, Juan Carlos has previously held various coaching positions, including Field Manager for the Newark Pilots Inc. and Hitting Coach for multiple teams. Additionally, Juan Carlos has worked as an International/Multicultural Enrollment Counselor at Oakland City University and has extensive experience in student services. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Spanish Language Teacher Education from Northern Arizona University, a Master of Education in Higher Education/Leadership from Iowa State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration from Oakland City University.
