Peter Alvarez

Peter Alvarez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and leadership within the financial services sector, particularly at Redstone Federal Credit Union since August 2006. Currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Business Development, Peter is responsible for driving membership growth strategies and enhancing value for members and community partners. Previous roles include overseeing Redstone's Business Services area, leading as an executive officer of Redstone Services Group, and managing initiatives focused on emerging and Hispanic markets. Peter's earlier career includes serving as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and general management of Right Choice Money Services, where innovative solutions for underserved consumers were developed. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and continues professional development through a Supervisory Development Program at the same institution.
