John Whitney

John Whitney is a Senior Manager at Redstone Strategy Group. John has also worked as a writer for the Exhibition Department at the American Museum of Natural Theirtory, a conservation fellow for Rare Conservation, and the director of outdoor programs for North Country School/Camp Treetops. John Whitney has also interned for National Geographic Explorer.

John Whitney studied at the Collegiate School before completing their bachelor of arts in anthropology at Brown University. John then earned their MA in museology (museum studies) from Columbia University before attending the Yale School of Management to earn their MBA with a focus in nonprofit management and strategy.

They are on a team with Sophie Gould - Project Manager, Stacey Chen - Principal & California Office Lead, and Jeremy Avins - Principal & New York Office Lead. John Whitney reports to Nathan Huttner, Managing Director.
