Dayne Cassiem

Dayne Cassiem has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in various companies. In 2015, they worked as a Customer Service Host at Digital Outsource Services. From 2016 to 2017, they transitioned to the role of an Information Security Data Analyst at the same company, where they collected, analyzed, and reported information events. In 2017, they joined IRI as a Data Analyst until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Business Analyst/Product Owner at Global Load Control, where they mentored and trained Business Analysts, analyzed business activities, and documented processes. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Business Analyst/Product Owner at White Hat Gaming, contributing to the launch of the Omnia product and collaborating with sales and marketing teams. Dayne continued in the Product Owner role at the same company from 2021 to 2022, achieving the successful launch of another product called RedAPI. At Redstor in 2022, they took on the Product Owner role, overseeing the product launch and implementing Agile methodologies to facilitate collaboration and iterative development.

Dayne Cassiem's education history begins in 2004 when they attended Wynberg Boys' High School, where they did not obtain a specific degree. Later, they pursued higher education at the University of the Western Cape from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Information Systems. In 2016, Dayne enrolled at the University of the Western Cape once again and completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honours degree in Information Systems in 2017. In 2018, they earned a certificate in Business System Analysis from the University of Cape Town. Dayne also obtained multiple certifications from the Scrum Alliance, including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) in 2019, Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) in 2021, and Certified Scrum Professional - Product Owner in 2022. Additionally, in 2019, they received a certificate in ICAgile Fundamentals training (ICP) from the DVT Academy.
