Herwig Hellinckx

Herwig Hellinckx has extensive experience in quality and safety management within the space industry, currently serving as the Product Assurance & Safety Manager at Redwire Space since November 2022. Prior to this role, Hellinckx held the same title at Qinetiq Space for 24 years, where responsibilities also included security management. Additionally, Hellinckx was the Head of Product Assurance & Safety and Product Assurance Manager at Verhaert Design & Development from January 1991 to October 1998. An educational background includes a Master of Science in Materials & Metallurgical Engineering and a MaNaMA in Biomedical Engineering, both from KULeuven.
