Vincent Yim

Vincent Yim is an experienced Systems Engineer at Redwire Space since July 2020, focusing on the research and development of star tracker systems and algorithms, including image processing and attitude determination algorithms. Prior to this role, Vincent worked as an Algorithm Developer at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where responsibilities included designing machine learning algorithms and analyzing remote sensing data. Experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia involved data analysis and the application of machine learning techniques, while earlier work included teaching assistance and research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, emphasizing cardiac myocyte image reconstruction. Vincent holds a Bachelor's degree in General Physics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master's degree in Machine Learning/AI from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
