Joanne Ongoco

Joanne Ongoco is a dedicated school counselor currently working at Redwood City School District since September 2020, where responsibilities include leading Screen Team meetings and facilitating Student Support Team meetings focused on academic and mental health needs. Previously, Joanne served as a Wellness Coordinator at College Track, building and overseeing the Wellness Program, and held various roles at GO Project including Student and Family Services Coordinator and HQ Operations and Success Coach. Joanne's experience also includes serving as a College Advisor with College Advising Corps, guiding students through the college application process, and multiple internships at NYC Department of Education, developing programs to support student transition and mental health. Joanne holds a Master of Arts in Counselor Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University, complemented by a certificate in College Advising from Columbia University.
