Adrian Lopez is the current director at REDWOOD COMMUNITY SERVICES INC. Prior to this, Lopez worked as an interim operations manager at METALfx from February 2021 to April 2021. In this role, Lopez was responsible for overseeing purchasing, production scheduling, document control, shipping, warehouse and inventory control, packaging operations, and outsourcing co-manufacturing services. Lopez was also responsible for establishing a supply chain structure and division of responsibility for optimal process flow. In addition, Lopez implemented ERP System Scheduling through Aptean Made to Manage (M2M) utilizing Shop Floor Manager (SFM), increasing scheduling accuracy by more than 65%. Furthermore, process improvements and control implemented by Lopez resulted in achieving 96% OTD, which was the highest since 2018. Lastly, Lopez created an inventory control cycle count program and smart numbering and barcoded locations, along with 400 new sublocations. This reduced pick times and improved delivery lead times; it also reduced avg days late from 16 days to less than 3 days.
