Eric Maldonado

Eric Maldonado has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Eric started their career in 1998 as a Licensed Life Agent and Series 66 Securities Manager at Robert Gary Tong. At this position, they were responsible for managing the office, processing investment transactions, and maintaining HR policies.

In 2003, Eric joined Northwestern Mutual Life as a Financial Representative. During their time there, they developed a successful practice in insurance and investment, serving over 300 individual and business clients. Eric specialized in life insurance, disability, deferred compensation plans, and retirement plans.

In 2011, Eric became the President of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Contra Costa County. Eric served two separate terms as President and played a key role in developing and implementing the Government Affairs Strategic Plan. Eric also researched and identified strategic partners to support the small business community.

In 2012, Eric took on the role of President at The Rotary Club of Concord Diablo. Eric served as a member of the board of directors, Vice-President, and President in different years. During their presidency, they created a Government Affairs Strategic Plan and implemented measures to engage members politically and address local business issues.

From 2009 to 2018, Eric worked at Travis Credit Union as a Community & Government Relations Officer, Corporate Relations. Eric coordinated and managed community involvement and government relations in Contra Costa County, advocating for credit unions' importance and protection. Eric also communicated issues during state and federal lobby days.

Most recently, Eric joined Redwood Credit Union in 2018 as a Business Development Manager. Further details about this role are not provided.

Eric Maldonado pursued their education at the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business, where they studied Non-profit Management. Additionally, they attended Heald College from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained an AS degree in Business Administration.
