Laura Langland

Laura Langland has extensive work experience in various roles. Laura started their career as a Lecturer at UC Santa Cruz in 2011. Laura then worked as an Astronomy Instructor at Foothill College from 2007 to 2012, where they utilized innovative teaching techniques to engage and educate students.

Following that, Laura worked as a Science Teacher at Challenger School from 2010 to 2014. Laura taught an accelerated middle school curriculum, including science, math, formal logic, and speech/debate/theater. Laura also briefly served as a substitute computer teacher and helped students with their projects.

In 2015, Laura joined RE/MAX Gold as a Team Operations Manager. In this role, they managed a family real estate team and coordinated documents for real estate transactions. Laura also automated lead follow-up processes.

Laura Langland obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Astrophysics from UCLA, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Subsequently, they pursued a PhD in Astronomy at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and completed their doctoral studies from 2001 to 2008.
