Michael Gay

Michael Gay has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Michael started their career as an Accountant at Summit Savings and Loan in 1994. Michael then joined Redwood Credit Union in 1997 as an Assistant Controller and later became the AVP/Controller, overseeing financial reporting and supervising a team of 7 accountants. In 2009, Michael joined AltaOne Federal Credit Union as the Vice President of Finance/Controller, where they managed a team of 9 finance professionals and 4 security and facility team members. Michael handled financial reporting, enterprise risk management, and critical vendor relationships. In 2016, Michael returned to Redwood Credit Union as the Controller, leading financial operations.

Michael Gay earned their Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Golden Gate University. Following this, they pursued a B.S. Degree in Accounting from the same university, which they completed in 1998. Later, Michael attended Pomona College from 2007 to 2009, where they achieved High Honors in Western Cuna Management School. Lastly, they obtained a Masters Degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix between 2009 and 2011.
