Alan McGinnis

Alan McGinnis is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in engineering, operations, and finance. Currently serving as the Manager of Engineering & Operations Finance at Redwood Materials since May 2021, Alan previously held multiple technical and project management roles at ExxonMobil, contributing to the successful completion of a $3.6 million brownfield petrochemical project. With a commendable tenure in the US Navy, Alan excelled as a Nuclear Submarine Officer and Program Manager, demonstrated leadership in academia by teaching and mentoring at the University of Kansas NROTC, and earned multiple awards for superior performance. Educationally, Alan holds an MBA from Duke University, a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Kansas, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
