Alex Heard

Alex Heard is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), sustainability, and product stewardship across several leading companies in the technology and solar industries. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety and Sustainability at Redwood Materials, Alex previously held senior positions at 3M and First Solar, overseeing large budgets and global teams while implementing critical sustainability and recycling initiatives. Alex’s career also includes significant roles at Intel and Philips Semiconductors, focused on establishing and managing EHS programs and policies. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Ecology from The University of Huddersfield.
