Erik Desormeaux

Erik Desormeaux is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in water management and resource recovery. Currently serving as the Sr. Engineer and Water Practice Leader at Redwood Materials since May 2025, Erik previously held roles at Energy Recovery, Inc. as both the Sr. Director of Business Development Wastewater and the Director of New Applications from April 2022 to April 2025. Additionally, Erik worked as a Project Manager and Senior Technologist at Jacobs, focusing on innovative water reuse solutions from April 2021 to April 2022. As the Director of Process Design & Water/WW Sales Lead at Porifera from January 2014 to April 2021, Erik assisted Fortune 100 companies in achieving their water reuse and energy reduction goals for 2030. Erik's career began as the CWCO Asia Operations Manager and Co-founder & President of CW Bali at Consolidated Water from October 2011 to December 2013. Erik holds both a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University.
