Ivor Bull

Vice President Of Manufacturing & Technology at Redwood Materials

Ivor Bull has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ivor is currently serving as the Vice President of Manufacturing & Technology at Redwood Materials since February 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at BASF, starting as a Staff Chemist in Catalysts from October 2004 to November 2007, followed by Senior Research Chemist in Catalysts from November 2007 to November 2010, and then Product & Process Development Manager in Effect Pigments from November 2010 to September 2012. Ivor further progressed in their career at BASF and held the role of Head of Global Product Development for Printing & Packaging - Resins and Dispersions from September 2012 to August 2015. Subsequently, they worked as the Director of Global Manufacturing Technology - Battery Materials & Precious Metal Recycling from August 2015 to September 2018. Ivor then took on the responsibility of Chief Operating Officer at BASF Toda America LLC - Battery Materials, leading a multi-site operations team producing cathode active materials for the battery industry from October 2018 to February 2022. Before entering the industry, they had a post-doctoral position at Stony Brook University for two years from April 2002 to October 2004.

Ivor Bull obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemistry from the University of St Andrews, where they studied from 1999 to 2002.
