Edward James has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Edward started their career as a Systems Analyst at Logica where they contributed to the development of a Synthetic Theatre of War simulation for the Ministry of Defence. Edward then joined Princeton Financial Systems as a Software Engineer, where they implemented various enhancements to financial systems, including Swaptions, Repos, Forward Rate Agreements, and Credit Default Swaps. Edward also worked on yield calculations and fixed income algorithms for the Australian market. Edward later joined Eadus Limited as a Director, where they designed and implemented an Android application and associated website for device tracking and remote control. Edward then worked as a Software Engineer at GLC Ltd., where they enhanced front office excel spreadsheets using VBA to implement risk and sizing functionality. Edward's most recent role was as a Senior Software Engineer at Redwood Technologies, where they enhanced a flagship VOIP soft phone using C++ 11/12 and the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) stack.
Edward James completed their MA in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge from 1987 to 1990. Following this, they pursued an MSC in Non Linear Mathematics at the University of Bath from 1990 to 1991.
