Debbie Cordo has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Debbie has experience in the media industry as well, having worked on the Marketing & Event Promotions Team at iHeartMedia, where they collaborated with multiple departments to execute station promotions. Earlier in their career, they held the role of Production Assistant at WGBH, working on television production projects and handling various tasks on set. Debbie also worked as a Global Marketing Communication Consultant at APCO Worldwide, producing corporate and thought leadership events for clients. Debbie started their career at Axiom Resource Management, where they served as an Events Analyst for the DoD Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program. Debbie's early experience includes an internship at WGBH, where they supported the volunteer and marketing manager, and an internship at Sharon Merrill Associates, where they gained experience in investor relations and corporate communications.

Debbie Cordo attended Virginia Tech from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Debbie'sfields of study were Communication, with a focus on Public Relations, and English, with a focus on Professional Writing. In 2009 and 2010, they also studied Cultural Studies Abroad at the University of Lynchburg, specifically focusing on Rome as Art and Museum.

In addition to their formal education, Debbie Cordo has obtained various certifications. In December 2020, they earned a Conversational Marketing Certification from Drift and a Demand Generation Certification from Sales Assembly. In September 2017, they completed the Young Professionals Program offered by the Leadership Center for Excellence.
