Keith Nelson is ReedGroup’s Chief Operating Officer (COO.) Keith’s responsibilities include oversight of the Customer Operations organization, Account Management and Implementations. Keith is passionate about delivering outstanding results for clients while building loyal and enduring relationships that create trust through consistent delivery. Keith brings deep technical expertise to ReedGroup’s leadership team. He started his career as a programmer analyst, then became a software developer and over time became accountable for the core business application systems for large group insurance providers.

At Aetna, where he served for 11 years, Keith was responsible for all IT and absence claims risk support services. He successfully managed client expectations throughout key implementations and acted as the market facing leader to consultants and consultants in the Group insurance space. Most recently, Keith was Vice President, Group Benefits Client Implementation & IT Program Delivery at The Hartford.

Keith has significant experience across a broad array of industries including Group insurance, absence services, and claims management and has led a number of operational areas including a large team of credentialed case managers, RN’s and vocational specialists.
