Daniel Ahn

Daniel Ahn currently serves as a Partner at Reed Smith LLP, a position held since August 2022. Previously, Daniel Ahn was an Assistant United States Attorney at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California from July 2012 to August 2022, where roles included Senior Litigation Counsel and Acting Chief. Prior experience includes working as an Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP (November 2007 - June 2012) and as a Trial Attorney in the Attorney General's Honors Program at the U.S. Department of Justice (October 2006 - November 2007). Daniel Ahn began the legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (August 2005 - August 2006) and at the United States District Court for the Central District of California (August 2004 - August 2005). Earlier roles in public service include positions as a Legislative Assistant, Legislative Correspondent, and Staff Assistant in the United States Senate from September 1997 to November 2000. Daniel Ahn holds a Juris Doctor from USC Gould School of Law, a Master of Arts from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Biola University.
