Malte-Nils Hunold

Malte-Nils Hunold has extensive work experience in various financial and managerial roles within the maritime industry. Malte-Nils is currently serving as the Vice President of Financial Services at NSB GROUP. Prior to this, they held the position of Leiter Finanz- und Rechnungswesen at GEFO Gesellschaft für Oeltransporte mbH from 2020 to 2022. Malte-Nils also worked as the Director of Accounting at Hapag-Lloyd AG from 2019 to 2020. Before that, they worked at DNV GL in several positions, including Regional Finance Manager Central Europe, Regional Tax Manager, GSS Finance Manager Benelux, Oil and Gas Business Controller Netherlands, and Group Controller from 2011 to 2018. Malte-Nils started their career as a Tax Specialist at Germanischer Lloyd and as a Tax & Audit Associate at Dr. Steinberg & Partner.

Malte-Nils Hunold's education history begins in 1998 when they enrolled at Universität Greifswald to pursue their pre-studies in Betriebswirtschaftslehre. Malte-Nils then transferred to Kiel University from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, Malte-Nils Hunold attended the University of Hamburg, earning a Master of International Taxation, specializing in International Taxes. In 2018, they briefly attended INSEAD to further their knowledge in Leading Digital Transformation.
