Brien McDonald has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Brien started their career at Greenwood Publishing Group in 2003, where they worked as an Editorial Assistant and later became a Sales Manager. In 2008, they joined ABC-CLIO as a Senior Manager of Special Sales, where they led a team of sales reps and exceeded revenue goals. Later, they joined Reed Exhibitions in 2010 as the Director of Strategic Accounts for BookExpo, where they sold brand marketing and exhibit packages to leading publishers. In 2014, they transitioned to ReedPop as an Event Director, handling various responsibilities including budgeting and vendor management. In 2018, Brien was promoted to the role of Director of Film & TV Partnerships at ReedPop, working closely with major film and television studios to create content and marketing strategies for digital and live events. Most recently, in 2022, they took on the position of VP of Sponsorship & Partnerships at ReedPop.
Brien McDonald completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Fairfield University, which they obtained between the years 1999 and 2003. Brien then pursued further education and acquired a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from the same institution, where they attended from 2003 to 2007.
