Maija Gates

Maija Gates has over 20 years of experience in the event industry. Maija is currently working as an Event Director at ReedPop since 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Comic-Con International, including Chief Experience Officer (CXO), Division Administrator, Senior Director of Talent Relations, Director of Talent Relations, Exhibit Hall Manager, and Industry Registration. Their tenure at Comic-Con International spanned from 2000 to 2022.

Maija Gates obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Anthropology from San Diego State University, where they attended from 1999 to 2003.
