Christian Reed

Founder and CEO at REEKON Tools

Christian Reed has an extensive work experience, beginning with their role as a Cadet in the United States Army in 2010. In 2012, they interned for the Lemelson-MIT Program JV InvenTeams, and in 2011 they were an Undergraduate Worker for NeCSys Group- MIT Media Lab. In 2013, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Outsmarting Technologies LLC and a Mechanical Engineer for Shaper. In 2014, they joined the United States Army Reserve as a Platoon Leader/Executive Officer. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at Formlabs in various roles, including Mechanical and Integration Engineer, Lead - New Product Development (Form 3 Printer), Program Manager - New Product Development (Form 3 Printer), Director (Form Cell), and 3D Printed Testing Swab Manufacturing Lead - COVID-19 Response. In 2020, they also took on the role of Innovation Officer at 75th Innovation Command, and founded and became the CEO of REEKON Tools.

Christian Reed attended East Islip High School from 2006 to 2010 and graduated with an Advanced Regents Degree with Honors. Christian then attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2014 and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Economics.
